The House of Hope

I had the pleasure of creating a second illustration for the @bg3tarotdeck , this time as a Merch Artist 🖤

I think I have never spent so much time on a digital illustration. If the Haarlep card had been a long-term effort, this one proved to be a real challenge. Whether in terms of composition, perspective, light, etc.

I had never drawn Raphael's fiendish form before, so I thought this was the opportunity... I might as well tell you that I wondered several times why I was doing this to myself 😂

But I like to think it was worth it. It's the kind of project that you can't imagine finishing when you've been working on it for weeks, but it's so satisfying to get it done.

"The House of Hope" will be an A5 print, available from the Adventurer Pack 🗡️

The time has come-- I can share my piece for the @bg3tarotdeck! I drew the goodest boy, Popper. :3 The accompanying story piece, written by @/mismisfits14 is ADORABLE.

This project was a ton of fun! Drawing for it really challenged my abilities as a budding digital artist; I'm super proud of this piece!

Seating Arrangements

Astarion is sick at camp for a day and peeved to see Gale taking a bite out of his mark. 3 pages!

This comic took SO LONG because being in the underdark means heavy inks apparently. But I had SOOOO much fun drawing all of Astarion's silly little faces. His face is so fun to contort. The scene is based on a modern AU sketch that @satanicspinosaurus turned into a full scene for the upcoming fic and I just. had to do a version to capture the faces and everything from reading the rough draft.
